Located Chandrayaan-2’s Vikram lander on lunar surface, trying to establish contact: ISRO chief

ISRO Chief K Sivan on Sunday said that the space agency has found the location of the lander ‘Vikram’ and is trying to establish contact with it.The lander was located with the help of the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter, which remains safe and is revolving around the Moon. The orbiter managed to shoot a thermal image of the Vikram lander.

We’ve found the location of Vikram Lander on lunar surface and orbiter has clicked a thermal image of Lander. But there is no communication yet. We are trying to have contact. It will be communicated soon,” news agency ANI quoted Sivan as saying.
